Have you actually met an executive? Rules are for the other people.

True 'dat. My guess is the cruise lines will continue to require vaccinations to sail but remove the pre-cruise testing requirement. Really, unless you test daily for 14 days before the cruise and then every day on the ship, it's a hit/miss proposition; designed as theater more than anything. You could walk out your front door tomorrow morning and get hit by a bus. Life is way too short to be cowering in fear.

I'm guessing my daisy dukes would send some of these people into apoplexy. Note to self: do not bring them this time.

I created a Navica account and had the option to create another "profile" for my wife. Much easier to keep both in one place.

If you were going for the ultra-snob, "crap don't stink", vibe, you nailed it.

Hi, I have a few Hawaiian Shirts (button up short sleeve) that I got from Hilo Hattie's on my last trip to the Islands. Would one be acceptable on a Chic Night on a Caribbean Cruise? It'll be on the Millennium in March. First cruise on Celebrity FWIW. Thanks

Photos of all Cafe al Bacio menus as of July 2022
Oklahoma Cruiser 2012 replied to cruisestitch's topic in Celebrity Cruises
When I first perused the menu, I read Bud Light as being "$65" and not "$6.50", my eyes almost popped out of my head. 😆 -
I thought the rule was 2 per *stateroom*, not per person?

Curious as to why you'd want to buy one on a cruise ship?

flying out of SJU post cruise. What do we need to know
Oklahoma Cruiser 2012 replied to ronmar22's topic in San Juan, PR
You'll still be dis-embarking in the US. No more hoops than any other domestic flight. The ag inspection is an Hawaii thing too. -
We have one in March 2023. Love to know the answer to this.

Cruising w Friends Dinner Question
Oklahoma Cruiser 2012 replied to lv2cruisgrl's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Sounds like you're not really responsible for organizing dinner locations. I vote "overthinking". Port days you and the gang can hang together at the port, maybe do an excursion. Fact is, after spending all day with them, you might be okay with having dinner with just you two. -
When do you put your luggage tags on your suitcase
Oklahoma Cruiser 2012 replied to flifish64's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I put my cruise tags already in the little tag holders, inside my suitcase. That way, if they are lost, the airline could, in theory, take the extra step and see it gets to the cruise ship. Do I actually have confidence that the airline would do that? Not really. I've been travelling for almost dfdjafdf years and have never had a lost piece of luggage. -
Yes, but they have to know that you still possess the old one before issuing a new one. I'm sure tons of people don't report stolen or lost passports. According to the State Department, your old one serves as the proof of citizenship, so you don't have to go through the whole birth certificate thing again. I renewed mine with just an application and old passport. From start to finish, took 6 days shy of a month to get it back.

Bioreference - Scarlet Concierge Service: In partnership with Bio-reference a concierge testing option is available for our fully vaccinated guests. Bio-reference will send a qualified medical technician to your home, office, hotel, or any place you choose, to perform the test. The cost is $85 per person. Your results will be ready in about 48 hours. Click here to make an appointment. -
My travel agent said to purchase it before the 14 days after deposit for "best and full coverage". It's a few dollars more to cover airfare as well as cruise. With the world the way it is right now, even if we don't end up using it, the fact that it's there is comforting. I never would have even considered travel insurance a few years ago, I guess that industry is going to come roaring back.

Carnival does list Cabin 1202 as "Interior Upper/Lower Category 1A"

Why not go out on a limb and have it cut whilst in a port? A little local flavor.

Options for Covid test pre=cruise
Oklahoma Cruiser 2012 replied to Nebr.cruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I'd say the best option is the E-Med (or comparable) test. If you're staying in a hotel in San Juan and the tests can't be sent to the UK, maybe arrange with the hotel to receive the test and hold it until your arrival? -
Captain’s Club Power Up Points
Oklahoma Cruiser 2012 replied to cruisestitch's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I don't care enough to have to actually speak to a person...over the phone. *shiver*. I'd rather ask strangers on a public message board. Life in the 21st Century, eh?
