Hi
On all of my cruises except for the upcoming one, I always stayed in an inside room because of the cost and because I am never in the room. One time on HAL, I booked an inside room but because a group needed my room, I was upgraded to an OV. I didn't find out until the day I was to get on the ship. It was a nice surprise because it was Alaska..
My feeling is that since I travel alone, it is expensive to cruise as I pay double. I always try to stay in an inside room so that I can have more money on excursions. Plus, why pay to stay in an outside or balcony if you are never in the room to begin with.
On the other hand, I booked an inside room almost 2 yrs ago for a cruise next month and prices have significantly dropped to the point that it was about $100 more to go into a boardwalk balcony. It was cheaper than OV. I opt to do this because I would have lost the money due to the price drop so I applied it to the balcony. A couple days ago, prices dropped again and this allowed me to pick a balcony cabin. This is my first time in a balcony room so I am not sure what to expect.

Hi
I am leaving out of Port Canaveral in 45 days on Freedom of the Seas. I am flying in to Orlando very late Thursday night and stay in a hotel nearby the airport. On Friday, I will take the Cocoa Beach shuttle to Cocoa Beach where I will stay at International Palm for two nights. From there, I will take the hotel shuttle to the port.
I would really love to visit Kennedy Space Center on Saturday. I am not going to rent a car. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get there? Is there a shuttle or a tour company that would take 1 person from Cocoa Beach to Kennedy Space Center.
Thanks
Jennifer
Symphony of the Seas cabin question

Hi
Sorry in advance if I posted this in the wrong section. I haven't posted here for a long time. Last time I cruised was about 10 yrs ago.
I am looking at Symphony out of Rome on June 8, 2023. If I go ocean balcony, there is only front obstructed views left on deck 8 priced around $3041 for 1 person. If I go central park balcony, they are on deck 10 mid ship, they are around $3338. How bad are the obstruct views on deck 8. Is there any sites that can show what they look like?
