Curious as to what the cabin number is you got the Royal Up is? this will give us a better idea in the American Market as to what category cabin you have. Then we would have a better idea if you got Sky or not?

Not sure what sailings you are looking at? I see and 11 and 12 night cruises for September 2023 but don't see any JS's for 3 passengers anywhere near 5k.............they are closer to 12K. So might want to check what you are trying to book.

If you are interested there are two Grand Suites available for the World Cruise for $334,000 for 2. Grab one quick if you want one. 🤣 Been told by a good source there is still plenty of cabins available for the World Cruise when booking all 4 legs. Cabins are set aside just for those booking the complete cruise.

They are not suppose to take out dirty dishes out of your cabin but they do. You really are suppose to call room service to come get your dirty dishes.

Yes that is the picture I saw showing the ground where the speeches were done at, I just would have thought all that space would have had people in it. It was surprising to me. Eagles had theirs at the steps of Museum of Art. It's a good thing your friends drone didn't get hit by the flyover.....looks like it was getting close. The street looked like this:

This was the Phillies parade, they had over a million, when the Eagles had their Super Bowl Parade they had twice as many it was reported, over 2 million. Philadelphia people really know how to party though, Mummers Parade every year also gets large crowds.

Then grab a taxi or uber to the port 3 miles away.

Insane !!! is that per person or for the cabin(for 2)?

We are thinking of maybe getting a rental car for 2 days($146) and driving to Bayonne, Staying one night in Harrisburg(our house to Harrisburg 4 hours) and then driving to the port on the second day from Harrisburg (about 2 hours and 30 minutes) Dropping the car off about 3 miles from the port, then taking a taxi to the ship. Right now flights are about $350 RT, would also need an extra night hotel(At Charlotte Airport, night before flight(2 1/2 hour drive from our house to the Airport) if we fly. If we fly we need 2 hotels stays, one at Charlotte Airport and one in Bayonne. If we drive both ways, We could visit our Son and my Sisters in NJ too after the cruise(14 night cruise). Thursday(getting off the ship) and Friday, Drive home on Saturday.

Must be a nightmare figuring out what cabins are available for what portions and I think I read somewhere Royal will still guarantee you if you book all 4 segments you will still be able to stay in the same cabin for all 4 legs. So they still must have a lot of cabins in all categories set aside for that to happen.

I guess just be glad this sailing isn't on one of the longer mega ships. You certainly are going to get in your walking each day for sure.

Because they might all have to do it again every time that have new passengers join the cruise. Some passengers may change cabins, so they will have to do it again every time their cabin is changed to a different location.

How much more is it costing you to move to the extra large outsides ones at the front of the ship you have now?

Large tables takes longer to eat if you are on a tight schedule. Tables for 2 you can tell the waiter you want speed dining because you have something scheduled you want to make sure you get to on time. With a large table that is not possible.

I fully know musters are now done on your phone on boarding day. Don't have to have been on a cruise ship to know that.

Just the flow of the total cruise..........another life boat drill probably for everyone again, and Welcome aboard show again, extra disembarking information over loud speakers, Added stress on the crew, more work for crew with more new passengers boarding. Always extra work for the crew on turnaround days.

What's Royal reasoning of breaking up the 4 segments into even shorter cruises, seems that would just make it more of a pain for passengers that aren't doing all these little cruises with more embarking and disembarking days. Are they having trouble filling the ship for even now the 4 segments? I can imagine the pricing of these cruises is becoming into a nightmare. Got to hope booking the 3 mini portions doesn't get cheaper then booking 1 of the 4 segments. If that happens going to have a lot of unhappy people.

Did you transfer it to a Travel Agency to see if you could get more OBC that way? I would not spend that kind of money on a cruise and not expect more OBC from somewhere?
