  1. The first cruises out of Cape Liberty in 2022 are 3 consecutive 11 night sailings aboard Anthem of which I am currently booked on all three. Seven night cruises don't start until February. It seems unlikely that RCG would start with 11 night cruises.
  2. I posted this on another thread, but perhaps it fits here better: One thing that will become perfectly clear to currently booked passengers is that if the CDC rejects NCL's proposal for a totally vaccinated ship, the possibility of any ship cruising out of the US until at least Nov. 1st will be a done deal. There will be no more false "hope;" no more pep talks about being "confident we will sail soon" from Cruise Company Execs (at least none that will be believed; and no more hemming and hawing about cancelling cruises from U.S. ports until after final payments (at least not w

  4. Apparently, it is now published. The reduced capacity is supposed to start at 60% and then increase by 20% every 30 days. MK_APR2101116 NCLH Flyer - SailSAFE Health & Safety Protocols.indd (nclhltdinvestor.com)
  5. According to several news source, minors who have not yet reached the age to receive a vaccine will not be permitted onboard sailings from the US through October 2021.
  6. Believe it or not there are people who booked their 2021 summer cruise with NRD back in Nov. of 2019 BEFORE Covid19 ever made its appearance. They have not been given the opportunity to cancel, change or refund without it costing them, even if its only part of their deposit.
  7. It's unfortunate that so many people have both their time and their money tied up in summer vacations that in all likelihood will not occur aboard ships. With many people in the position of a having a booking secured with a NRD, their money being tight, and vacation time locked in, all the cruise lines should do the ethical thing and cancel those sailings so that people can either move their vacation to next year (to do it without a cancellation could cost them 2x what they have currently paid) or get a refund quickly so they can salvage this year's family vacation. If this was the first summe
  8. NCL has removed the ability to book sailings until Sept 1, 2021 from their website. When their webpage was questioned about it, this was their response: "Thank you. With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to impact communities and ports around the globe, we are working to determine our next course of action. While we evaluate the opportunity to resume with sailings, we have temporarily frozen voyages that might be impacted should we need to delay sailing further. Please bear with us. We will make a decision shortly and will provide information as it becomes available."
  9. Platinum is that person's Crown and Anchor designation. My Casino offers say Pinnacle on them and I am prime in the Casino. The Odyssey offer was given to me as well, but I am already booked for that cruise.
  10. The current declaration was renewed on January 21, 2021. It is due to expire on April 21, 2021. If it is not renewed, we are no longer considered to be in a public health emergency and that which is the Conditional Sailing Order goes away. "poof" The declaration must be reviewed at minimum every three months.
  11. Serenade is no spring chicken, built in 2001 and the change was taking place there as of Jan 2020 - only suites and pinnacles allowed. If you go back through the old posts many D+ were complaining about it.
  12. Honestly, I don't think there will be any Concierge Lounges once RCG gets back into the swing of things. On some of the smaller ships with only Concierge Lounges the change over to Pinnacle and Suite guests only had begun back in Jan. 2020
  13. Not according to the RCG website. Access to Suite Lounges on Oasis and Quantum class will remain for Pinnacles. Reservations are necessary for the Coastal Kitchen for Pinnacles under the temporary protocols.
