  1. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the aft stateroom PR727 on the Island Princess? I read a very negative review of this cabin. To be fair, the whole review was negative. Not sure why they even went on a cruise. This is an accessible suite.

  3. Thanks. We will be driving in from a long distance. I thought about hotel parking, but not really that excited about that. (Mainly worried about the pickup following the cruise. Again thanks for the replies. I think we will use the port parking.
  4. Wondering about handicap parking at the port or near the port for a Princess cruise in late Oct. I use a scooter.
  5. If she has never had or driven a scooter, she needs to use it (a lot) prior to the cruise. I've used a scooter for 12 years, we have been on 3 cruises and are booked on the 4th. I still run into walls, doorways, and people. (usually toes). You can't just get on one expect to drive away. With that said, they are great to be able to keep up with family or to just move around the ship on your own. As stated before, you MUST have an accessible cabin. You might consider a wheel chair instead.
  6. I understand the full transit may be better. my question was about an aft (rear of ship) suite.
  7. Wondering how good an idea it is to book an aft cabin on the Island Princess for a Panama canal cruise.
