It's best not to make assumptions, if the OP says it was their first platinum cruise, maybe it was.

Not all cruises are 7 days.

I am assuming the Elation and Fantasy were 5 day or less.

Don't blame the guests for breaking the rules like a 5 year old who will get away with murder if they can? That's hilarious.

Maybe some of the people who brought uninvited red and blue guests to the party should assume responsibility for the results of overcrowding. Not just gold but platinum and above. When a system is abused, there are always repercussions. Not just Carnival, but in the world. This also applies to alcohol smuggling and cheating on the cheers program. Just my opinion.

Don't blame the guests for bringing these people who were not invited, place the blame on Carnival for not enforcing their rules. If 200 are invited and 600 show up, well then they have a problem.

Why does it matter how I spend my money that I worked for? Should I go "tsk tsk tsk" every time I pass through the casino and see people playing the slot machines or putting down money for Bingo games? Of course not. It doesn't matter to me how someone spends their money so why should it matter to anyone how I spend mine? If the Carnival CEO created a Go Fund Me account to buy herself a new Maserati and you wanted to contribute to it, that would be your prerogative.

 

If you want to blow it all on casinos and booze and other carnal pleasures, go for it! It's your money. You won't see me criticizing you for it.

 

In fact, next time you go on a cruise, when they call boarding for FTTF, please go up to those people in line and explain to them how they have wasted their money.

I was really enjoying your post until your last paragraph. You contradicted everything you said. So, go up and tell them how they wasted their money by buying FTTF, but you won't criticize people for doing what they do with their money, you just did.

The CD, as well as the maître d, I could care less who they are. At least I haven't seen the CD make an appearance on the last night to hustle a gratuity. :eek:

I have never put my cell phone number or home address on my luggage tags for boarding the ship. Or are we talking about airline luggage tags?

I had an experience very recently where my pvp was on vacation and i simply called 1 of the others from the main carnival line and got my pricedrop right away..

My PVP will give me the number of another PVP to call when he is out of the office that will be covering for him.

I had the dog in Mexico alert on me. I had just eaten a banana before getting off the ship.

That happened to me once also. My problem was it was in the form of banana gas. :p I thought the dog was getting really friendly, or just doing his job. ;)

I did this on the Conquest and Splendor last November. About a 2 minute walk to the Splendor, at the terminal by 9:30. The ship was cleared early. was onboard by 11:07. That's the earliest I have ever got on a ship.

I printed out our booking summary for June 3 2016 and the health form is there.

Documentary material, inspiration (:rolleyes:) to cruise for me, NO. Is this for Carnival or for cruising in general? I see no connection to Carnival specifically. I see other adds for Carnival and see no connection. They trying to change there image again?
