Anyone familiar with Ama Waterways Zambezi Queen - cabins 28/29, which are in the back of the ship. Question is about the balcony - I am trying to figure out if the balcony is the same as the other cabins - balcony on side, or if there is a window in the back of the room or what? I realize it is a standard size balcony - just trying to figure out if it is on side of ship or back of ship. I've seen a deck plan and a fuzzy image on a video, and it looks like there may be a window on the back, but just not sure. Also - is the cabin noisy from the public deck above? Thanks!

We are in Southampton and in sky suites on our turnaround day. So I will see what the process brings. We plan to leave the ship and walk along the marina a bit if the weather is nice, so we don't mind if required to be of the ship.

So basically who knows if we will have the same attendant and butler 🤷 when we move. 😀

Thanks - so we need to tell them we are B2B - I had read that somehow, they "know". I will tell someone in the first few days. I'm hoping to have the same team - we are just moving 3 suites down. (just enough to walk to the wrong room for a few days I'm sure 🤣)

Going on my first B2B. It's now getting to the time the docs and luggage tags are available. Do I need to bother printing the luggage tags for the 2nd cruise? Or will they provide whatever is needed with the turnaround instructions? (we have to move cabin unfortunately) Thanks!

Nice write up, thank you for sharing! On the Bruges on Your Own excursion - did they have busses running back through the day, or was it only one specific time you had to be back? We are considering this instead of bothering with the train. Thanks!

Look really closely at the X itineraries / ports when you book. Some have better fjord stops than others. Or, agree with The Penguins - go with Hurtigruten if you really want fjord viewing and stops.

If you go onto the site we can't mention, but it's like a book, but with a face.... There is a group you can join for celebrity galapagos/ Flora, expedition and xploration. There are some reviews posted there on glamping.

I don't think many people out for glamping. It's fairly humid, and after being outdoors in the heat/ humidity so day, most people want to sleep indoors in the A/C. When we were on Flora in October, we would stargaze a bit in the evening, but were ready for indoors to sleep. As were most other passengers. You can also have dinner outdoors, which some people did ( no charge)

I expect (certainly hope) medical care is prioritized based on the urgency of the medical issue, not class of cabin. Medical team would likely only go to a passenger if medically necessary. The only difference in service in retreat should be what you paid for - larger cabin, access to Luminae, retreat lounge, etc.

Thanks again all. The ship spends the next 2 days cruising in the Arctic circle, so I guessing there's plenty of time and daylight to wait a bit if we are late.

Thanks all - just very odd that they are scheduling an excursion that they know will result in a late time. I figured most excursions that got back late were due to traffic or some other condition that just occurred during the excursion not something planned in advance😁. Oh well - I guess it is what it is, and we'll just go with the flow.

@TeearaThanks for the detailed write up! I will check out your videos when you post. There is not a similar tour to that right now, but I will check back - maybe they will add some others since we are still almost a year away. As of now, I think we'll do the Panama City + locks. It does not mention lunch, but "snacks on the bus" - so I am picturing a horrible boxed lunch of some sort 🤣
