Thanks! Did you enjoy the pastries?
Yes we did. It was pretty much the same as the picture above. They had a blueberry crumble thing in tiny ramekins that was very good. My boyfriend really liked the scones.- 2

I am currently on the Panorama and actually went to tea time today! They had Lipton black tea and Bigelow green tea free of charge.
Tea time is only being offered on sea days according to the Hub app schedule.

If a food tour interests you for Mazatlan, we did a food tour (I think it was "taste of Pitiyal") with Flavor Teller Food Tours 2-3 years ago and it was awesome. Went to places we never would have found on our own, and at a very reasonable price. Guide was very knowledgeable and informative.
after doing more research I am seriously considering the food tour from Flavor Teller. Do you recall how easy it was to get from the cruise port to the meeting spot for the tour?

I've never heard of American Riviera Tours, but they certainly have a lot of TripAdvisor and Google reviews. They seem to be a very small outfit with mostly happy customers.
thanks for the feedback. I am debating between them and Sunseeker. American Riviera is $30 more a person but it’s a private tour so that is appealing -

Good to know. I didn’t know it was open before dinner. Thanks!
The Pig & Anchor offers a free buffet on embarkation day and I think on sea days as well. It’s not busy at all. I had it on the Horizon last year, plan on going there in a few weeks on the Panorama.- 4

Hi,
Has anyone used American Riviera tours for a Los Angeles area sightseeing tour? I will be on the Panorama in a couple of weeks and taking the red eye flight home so was looking for something to do. I stumbled upon this company which will pick up at the terminal in Long Beach and do a private tour and drop off at LAX.
I have also looked into Sunseeker tours and am considering them as well.

We had B5 muster station.
Do you remember where this was? I have the same muster station in a few weeks and would like to know where I should be going first to get the drill taken care of

Cruiser "Wennfred" reported on the "Attestation and Steakhouse" thread....
"Was onboard Spirit 2 weeks ago and was told they no longer offer the Bottle of wine on the first night, but who knows, it changes every day with everything else."
Does anyone recall what day John Heald proclaimed this to be untrue? I can't find his FB post stating so. I want to screenshot it and present it to the Steakhouse manager if they refuse to honor the offer.

It took about 3 weeks for us to hear about the onboard credit. This was back in May I booked under a casino offer and it was approved.

Let us know what you think - I am going to try them out about a week after you on the Sunshine - I sail in 31 days.
I will definitely report back. We intend to try both of them!- 1

Yes, these new menu items are ongoing - if not permanently, then at least for the foreseeable future.
Awesome! He’ll be happy to hear that -
Hi,
Does anyone know if they are still doing the special Guys Funderstruck burger at Guy’s Burgers and/or the Fundertots (loaded tater tots) at the Pig & Anchor on the Panorama? Will be sailing in 3 weeks on the Panorama and my boyfriend/traveling companion wanted to me to ask 😂
-
I asked John Heald on his FB page and he said they are still doing it…take that for what you will. I will copy and paste below. 1 person also commented that they got the free bottle last night.
Hi John,
Is the free bottle of wine still offered on the first night in the steakhouse? Or can you get 50% off other bottles of wine?
Hello, yes indeed you can have both. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do and I hope we see you very soon. Cheers Katie

Hello,
I am in the UK and check in for my cruise is on Sunday. I am looking to check in as soon as it's open but this will be around 5 am for me. Just wanted to confirm, do i need to do the full check in at the same time or can i just select the time i want to check in and do the other sections at a later stage?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
you can go in and select your time and then complete the rest later -

Note that while you can order multiple appetizers and multiple sides, even multiple deserts… unlike the MDR, ordering multiple mains in the steakhouse would result in an additional charge.
I don’t think I could eat more than one main dish anyways lol- 2

Thank you for asking this. I was wondering the same thing.
I am eating at the steakhouse for the first time on the Panorama in September. I’ll order multiple things and report back 😂

We got an email about 3 weeks after we submitted the documentation. This was a few months ago.

Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with the tequila tour offered by Mazatlan Tours by Johann & Sandra?
Trying to find something to do in Mazatlan that’s not a beach..and none of the ship excursions really interest me

Thanks for all the responses everyone! How is the MDR food and service?
I enjoy Carnivals MDR food the most out of the 3 mainstream lines. I was on the Horizon (Panoramas sister ship) last year and I thought the food was very good for the most part. If you don’t like something, they are more than accommodating to bring you something else.
I also enjoy all of the free food options like Guys Burgers and Blue Iguana.

On Wednesday, we ended up doing the Mercado & More tour from Flavor Teller. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever done. It was very easy to get a cab to the meeting spot as well.
