Lots of choices Thanks! Do you happen to remember the cost of the pig and anchor? Is it per item or a flat fee? Tia
Pig & Anchor has a free buffet on embarkation day, not inside the restaurant but outside. At least it did on Horizon last year. I plan on going there on Panorama in September, it was not crowded at all.- 1

If it’s a casino rate, you can email the players club and they will let you know which casino offer it it. I just emailed them and heard back a few days later…I didn’t realize I had DOU in the casino lol

You could have dinner at the Steakhouse and/or do the Chef’s Table

If I remember to get them I will but I’m not going to worry too much about it. I was more concerned about tipping our tour guides and also if we take a taxi somewhere and it sounds like USD are fine for that purpose.
thank you both for your input 😀

We bought the minimum 100 shares just a couple of months ago. We were approved and given our onboard credit for a cruise in September within 3 weeks of submitting the documentation.
I wanted to add to mine that we had a casino rate and got approved. Not a free room but a cheap rate -

Are pesos needed? No usually. Are using pesos smart? Yep. We live in Puerto Vallarta part of the year and never use dollars (nor do any of our friends who live in PV). On the other hand, you can certainly use dollars most places and accept the exchange rate. I have often said that there are 3 sets of prices in most Mexican cruise ports. 1. the normal Mexican price 2. Gringo prices and 3. prices for those off of cruise ships. And you can guess who gets the worst price :).

Good to know…thank you! I think I may bring some with me just in case! -

Hi all,
I will be going on the Carnival Panorama to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo. Do they take US dollars in these places or is it better to have pesos?

Could the extra person sail with a birth certificate? Not sure where you are sailing from or if it’s a closed loop US cruise

When my PVP is out, his voicemail directs me to a different PVP. Did yours give you anyone else’s name? If not, maybe ask for a new PVP. You could always switch back when yours returns.
I was going to say something similar. My PVP was out on medical leave when I emailed her recently. Her out of office email reply directed me to contact a different PVP in her absence. I contacted the new PVP and explained my situation and they were more than happy to help.- 2

Hi all,
I am on the Panorama in September and right now in my Cruise Planner there is a promo code for 10% off internet packages when I book an excursion but it expires tonight. Do these promotions happen often? I’m just wondering if this might pop back up before my cruise.

Just wanted to share my experience - I submitted the documentation for the shareholder credit exactly 3 weeks ago and they have added 100.00 to my onboard credit balance today. I am booked on a casino rate.

It was getting close to 4 pm so we headed back to check out and enjoyed the lobby bar and cafe, people watching and WiFi until it was time to Uber to Lax!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my review and that it gets you excited for your next cruise from Long Beach - we loved everything about our little getaway❣️
Wash your hands a lot, don’t sneeze on anyone ( or let them sneeze on you) and ENJOY YOUR LIFE- every moment is precious and not to be wasted…..
Happy Cruising!♥️

I am dying to take one of these classes, I love to cook. I am booked on Panorama next year but there’s nothing listed, I hope they just post those closer to the sailing date. Looking forward to any reviews anyone does on the classes!
I am on the Panorama in September and there are 9 classes listed. I booked this cruise in May and the classes were listed when I booked. I plan on trying one…just haven’t decided which one yet. Will report back -
Thank you for your wonderful review and pictures. I will be on this ship in September and your steakhouse pictures make we want to make a reservation now.

Does anyone have any recent experience with Sunseeker Tours out of Long Beach?
We are taking the red eye home Saturday night after we debark the Panorama and thought this tour sounded like a good option.

Was disappointed the Rymthm of the Nights shore excursion at Puerto Vallarta got cancelled. We did book a sailing excursion there plus a harbor, tour excursion at Mazatlan for the same price as the cancelled excursion.
Do you know why the Rhythm of the Nights got cancelled? Was thinking of doing this excursion in September

I did Horizon last year to Aruba & Curacao (was supposed to be ABC’s but itinerary got changed) and it was amazing. Those two islands were so much fun
How bad is the noise on connecting cabins?

Like some of the replies above it really depends on the neighbors. I booked a balcony guarantee on a ship and I ended up with a connecting room. We had the loudest neighbors I’ve experienced on a cruise ship…constant door slamming, loud music, etc. so you might get lucky and have quiet neighbors or you may not
