They are starting to listen. There will be a poolside venue on Utopia. Hopefully something gets added to more ships when they go in for their next drydock.
You need to call. Just as an FYI, just because you request it does not necessarily mean the ship will get the request or pay any attention to it. Lots of times they just make it up the same as it was the previous sailing. If that happens just ask your cabin steward to change the set up and it will be done by the time you get back from dinner.
That depends.
If you are using a TA they may be able to get yo a group rate that can be substantially cheaper but Royal does not offer connecting cabins (barring a couple of mis-categorizations) so side by side rooms are definitely cheaper.
If you are booking on your own it all depends on how sales are doing
I wouldn't expect to see any real drops in price when they remove the gratuities, just a way for them to increase prices or keep them the same and offer less
Demographics. Other lines with similar demographics are experiencing the same thing. Just not recovering as quickly from the shutdown as other lines with a younger demographic.
Why would it confuse anyone.
Free is the common opposite of paying for something. Paying extra for something on a ship is something people understand so for everyday purposes saying something on the ship is free and the vast majority of people understand that. It is only a few in here that feel the need to argue that it is not free but included.
If you do not all need to be connected at the same time just buy the one device package for one guest.
On board you can log on any number of different devices, just one at a time
If you just booked the standard nrd fare on their website you get nothing extra. (Other than elite).
FYI, TA group rates include gratuities, wifi and drink package and a refundable deposit often times for the same or very little more rhan Celebrities nrd no perks rate.
They did for a while and it was all cruises not just Europe but for the past year there is the option to get the cruise without the perks. They just changed this again and effective in October the three perks will be reduced to two as gratuities will no longer be included as one of the perks
Refundable deposits are still available. You need to go all the way through the booking process and at the end you will get to add the option for a refundable deposit...for more money
Only balconies and below can get a refundable rate. JS and above are always non refundable.
