Evening all, had some nasty storms come through around 6 pm. Lots of rain and wind with trees and wires down all over the place. Storm finally over. Cats were not happy with the thunder. Stay safe for those of you still waiting for the storm.

Good very humid afternoon. It’s currently 76 with 96% humidity and possibly severe thunderstorms later today. I have climbed several lighthouses over the years but I don’t think I can do it anymore. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good sunny morning. It’s currently 76 and humid, going up to 87 with strong storms this evening and tomorrow. I have not heard anything further on Barb , so I guess no news is good news 🤞🙏 I was a bad pet parent last night, Tux accidentally spent the night locked in the vestibule. Brother heard him crying this morning and opened the door and he ran out. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

@JazzyV, I apparently was given the wrong day for Barb by the group leader. A later update from her husband this morning said he was able to see her and she is in a lot of pain and is in the ICU. Hopefully, she will be in a regular room soon. 🙏🤞

Just had an email from Barb’s husband, they must have moved up the surgery to yesterday. The surgery took 11 hours due to some inflammation. The surgeon believes he got it all. He hopes to get tp see her sometime today. Thank you Lord.🙏🙏🤞

Happy Birthday to the Coast Guard. They play such an important role in protecting our nation. The training center in Cape May NJ is such an important part of the local community The community hosts the recruits at the holiday time and when the budget shutdown occurred, they started a food bank to help the families survive.

Good cool and cloudy morning. Thunderstorms are expected later today. Extra prayers today for Barb and her family for a successful surgery. 🙏 Houdini has a nurse appointment today for bloodwork. Gave him a sedative last night and he gets another dose this morning.Last visit he was really stressed and breathing hard.🤞 Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Feliway calming spray . Available at pet stores or from the vet It gets sprayed on the towel or inside the carrier. It really helps to keep them calm.

Good beautiful sunny morning. It’s currently 71 with a high of 82 today. I wish it would stay like this for the rest of the summer. I’m not a fan of potato salad, I much prefer macaroni salad. There is a local deli that makes their macaroni salad with bacon and cheese in it . Thanks everyone for the prayers for Barb. The surgery is supposed to take about 5 hours and then in the hospital for about a week. Our birthdays are 6 days apart in November. I’m off to the hairdresser this morning. Afternoon all, @JazzyV,I saw on the news that you have an alligator swimming in the river around Apollo. I hope that they capture it soon.

Good cool and sunny morning. It’s currently 62 and only going up to about 80. Today is also the 40th anniversary of National Night Out. This is a way for people to meet their neighbors and get together with first responders and police in a community celebration. Many locations have a cookout and other activities. All events are free. My friend B( Barb) had been diagnosed with early stage Pancreatic cancer. Surgery is scheduled for Friday, followed by chemotherapy. 🙏. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Update on the heat.It’s currently cooler in Ft Lauderdale than it is in Pa. Right now Philadelphia has a real feel of 110. Try to stay cool.

Good sunny and hot morning, it’s 74 with a real feel of 86 and 91% humidity. Yesterday at one point the real feel was 110. Thank goodness for air conditioning. Good cloudy and miserable humid morning.It’s 77with 91% humidity. It’s supposed to get up to 92 today and 95 tomorrow. Real feel will be over 100. I’ve been to St Thomas many times over the years, loved going over to St John. Shopping was always fun, anyone remember buying the $10 Orbit watches? I love hearing bagpipes, especially in Scotland at the Tattoo, the lone piper on the castle is very moving. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Well, they must have found a pilot and assistant for Terri’s flight. It’s now showing in flight.🎉

In the news this evening, the police in Bucks County have announced that they are giving up the active search for Conrad after exhausting all means. The family has been notified.💔

I’m guessing she’s on American from Chicago to Jax. That inbound flight is delayed but the Jax flight is still showing on time.🤞
