It’s been a beautiful sunny day here. Sadly, the news is not good. The death toll has now risen to 5 with 2 still missing. The police chief said they will not rest till all are accounted for. 💔🙏

For some more good news, my Reading High School Boys Basketball team just won their 3rd State Championship Title since 2017.🎉

An update on the RM Palmer tragedy. In good news, the death toll has been lowered to 2 with 1 person pulled alive from the rubble during the night. The bad news is that 5 remain missing as the search continues and 8 injured. 💔🙏

An update on the plant explosion. My friend’s daughter posted on Facebook that her mother and father were out of town and nowhere near the plant. I’m sure they will be devastated when they hear the news.

Good morning. It’s a cloudy and cold day with rain later on. Have some errands to run later on. Yesterday was a little bittersweet because a local family restaurant had announced the closing date due to the owner retiring., we went for lunch. The new owners are going to be closed for about 3 weeks. On the good news front, my favorite ice cream stand announced they are opening today for the season . On another sad note, a local company RM Palmer candy plant had a massive fire and explosion yesterday afternoon, the building was destroyed and sadly there is loss of life. At this time, 5 are dead with 6 still missing and at least 8 injured. I have friends that work for the company in a different location. Prayers are needed as the search continues. Good evening, I hope everyone had a great weekend and is welcoming Spring. Trpuble was supposed to go to the vet tomorrow for his follow up appointment but we had a voicemail from the vet that they had a small fire in the apartment above their office yesterday. All the animals are safe , but there was some damage to their building and they will be closed for several days . Thank God all were safe. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists❤️🙏

Good morning all It’s been a busy past 2 weeks. I’ve been at the vet several times. Trouble had dental surgery last week and wasn’t a happy cat. Yesterday the 2 little guys were there for a regular visit. Thanks for insurance . According to CC , today is my 10th anniversary , I was a lurker for long before. Well this morning is off to a great start. Just had the police knocking on the door saying they had a 911 call from this number. No , we haven’t used the phone yet. Ok just had to check it out. Good sunny morning, supposed to get some snow and ice tonight. I’m supposed to have a physical therapy appointment tomorrow morning, may have to cancel it, not worth getting in an accident. Yesterday we went to Longwood gardens for members day, extra discount for dining and shop. The conservatory was full of orchids and Lillie’s. Had a lovely brunch at their fine dining restaurant. Stuffed French toast with a berry sauce. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good cold and cloudy morning, with snow showers expected this afternoon. Heading off to Bird in Hand Fire Company this morning for their annual chicken pot pie dinner. Yesterday we stopped at Strasburg fire company for chicken corn noodle soup takeout. It was delicious. Strasburg today will be a mess as it is the annual “ mud “ sale. All the fire companies in Lancaster county rotate on a weekly schedule for the sales, it’s like a giant yard sale with everything from farm equipment and crafts to plants and whatever else you can think of. Good morning all, It’s Fastnacht day and I’m heading out to get some more at a local store. For many years my church made them from scratch with real potatoes and fried in oil. I Need a Wang Wang. Afternoon all, back from Hershey,the first question was you’re here today for Botox, ah No, unless it’s a surprise, since the insurance company denied that last year When the Dr finally showed, his first question was who referred me to him, Ah I Saw You. Last April okay , He started to talk about Botox, my reply was Insurance denied last year as not necessary. He doesn’t understand that, he’s thinks he can do better. Go ahead and try, he says 3 weeks ( at checkout 1st available appointment is May 22) not even approved but book it anyway. People wonder why I wish my Vet was an MD.

I have an appointment with the doctor in Hershey this afternoon to discuss Botox, when I told the receptionist this was declined by my insurance company last summer and asked if they don’t read the report from my local doctor, she said no not unless they request it.
