Good rainy afternoon, the snow showers never arrived. In today’s paper, a joint memorial service will be held next Saturday for our fallen heroes Zachary Paris and Marvin Gruber. According to the obituary, Zachary was born here in Reading and was a graduate of Fleetwood HS in 2005.💔💔 Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good cool morning, the rain has stopped. It is a sad morning in Schuylkill county Pa. Two firefighters were killed in a house fire yesterday afternoon near Tamaqua. Zachary Paris and Marvin Gruber both were volunteers with the New Tripoli station. FF Paris was also a career FF with Frederick county Maryland.💔💔 Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good morning, I received an email from HAL for cyber Monday, $25 deposit, crew gratuity and up to 40% off. I did not look at the specific dates.

There’s a lot of angst on the Royal Caribbean thread about 2 separate issues. The 2 ships in Tampa were fogged out and couldn’t dock till late this afternoon. People missed flights. New pax told not to arrive till 8pm.A real mess. Wonder if the Seas had a medical emergency yesterday morning and diverted to San Juan. Bottom line is ship is arriving 1 day late to Port Canaveral. (4am Monday) People are claiming they will lose their jobs due to this. Flights will be a major issue. Not sure if they have considered their flights could have been cancelled regardless. Some people need a reality check.

I heard on the news that a pax went overboard from the Carnival Valor on Wednesday night in the Gulf of Mexico. Miracle of miracles he was found alive about 12 hours later. He left a bar to use the bathroom and never returned. Sister didn’t report him missing until Thursday morning .
