Good morning all, It’s Fastnacht day and I’m heading out to get some more at a local store. For many years my church made them from scratch with real potatoes and fried in oil. Yesterday was a vet appointment for Ninja for blood work again, he’s stable but they keep checking. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Afternoon all, back from Hershey,the first question was you’re here today for Botox, ah No, unless it’s a surprise, since the insurance company denied that last year When the Dr finally showed, his first question was who referred me to him, Ah I Saw You. Last April okay , He started to talk about Botox, my reply was Insurance denied last year as not necessary. He doesn’t understand that, he’s thinks he can do better. Go ahead and try, he says 3 weeks ( at checkout 1st available appointment is May 22) not even approved but book it anyway. People wonder why I wish my Vet was an MD.

I have an appointment with the doctor in Hershey this afternoon to discuss Botox, when I told the receptionist this was declined by my insurance company last summer and asked if they don’t read the report from my local doctor, she said no not unless they request it. Good eating for a worthy cause. These fire companies are all volunteer and depend upon community support to exist.

Good cold and sunny morning. Today is the first ox roast of the year at Witmer Fire Company in Lancaster County. According to their Facebook page, they have made over 2 thousand pounds of beef for today. Still drive thru only. Gates open at 11am. I love supporting a worthy cause. Dieners Restaurant which is right next to Dutch Haven sells whole pies to go. 9 inch shoofly is $ 12.55 Also, not sure if you’re aware Hershey Farms Restaurant on 896 right before Sight and Sound Theater was destroyed by a fire last month. They plan to rebuild.

Good cold and sunny morning. It’s currently warmer in Juneau and Anchorage than it is here. Today is a great day to stay in and cuddle with the kids. Tux tries to be a cool kitty and crawl in the refrigerator. TT doesn’t like sharing his food and puts his front paws in the plate and growls. Dinner tonight will be a pork loin and buttered noodles. We all have our opinions of HAL’s IT department but over on RCcL forum today people were getting notifications they had 30 minutes to report to their muster stations, minor problem is they weren’t onboard and/or have no sailing booked. 😎
