  1. Great job DC Walker!!

I am definitely in, I was thinking about doing at least that many steps a day. It's 16,438 kilometers to Miami from here. LOL

HOWEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, I'm clumsy as, and about a week ago, I fell over my cat while doing yoga. So now I'm in a moon boot and crutches for 5 more weeks.

Lucky I love that furry little jerk!

  2. LOL

    SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm getting married in Vegas in November (honeymoon on RCI 2 days later). I ordered my wedding dress a few sizes smaller on purpose to try and lose weight. LOL

Well, I've been on a diet since January, and have lost about 20 pounds. The dress is a zip up lace and there's still about a 6 inch gap in the back! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

How much weight do you think would need to be lost to make this dress zip up! LOL

Anybody else have any issues with this??

  3. I really think it depends on the couple and their circumstances. For example, my fiance and I live in Australia. We've been together 7 years, (almost 8 by the time we get married) and have been living together for 4 years, own 2 houses and both are pretty well established.

Our wedding is in Vegas and the last thing we want to have to haul gifts halfway across the world, excess luggage is expensive! LOL

Also, by the time we get married I'll be 37 and he'll be 40.

If I was in my 20s, it would be totally different, Give me that scan gun!! LOL

  4. I'd have to disagree, exercise is not good for you lol I'm sitting here in a moon boot because of exercise, ok because of my cat, but I was exercising! LOL

I lost 400 grams this week. I've been having a really rough week though. I'm in a lot of pain, and the pain killers have been keeping me from going to the bathroom. So it's making me feel even yuckier.

    3-5 weeks to go!

Luckily I'm off work for 3 more weeks, let's hope for the best!

Good job to everyone this week, whether you gained or lost.... Being accountable is half the battle!!

  5. Hi Everybody!

I lost 200 grams this week. Honestly I'm pleased considering the rampage I've been on. UGH

For those of you who remember from last weeks weigh in, I told a story about how my cat tried to kill me.... Well I finally went to the doctor since my foot wasn't getting any better. Turns out I have a fractured tibia!!! So now I'm sporting a moon boot and crutches.

I try to make up for my eating debacles with exercise but I'm really going to have to focus on my eating until I get the OK to exercise again.

    Great job this week everybody!!

  6. Happy Easter Everybody!!

I lost 300 grams this week. But we'll see what it is next week. The struggle with the Cadbury eggs has been REAL YOU GUYS!!!!

My cat almost killed me that other day. I was doing yoga and when I switched poses, he was standing right where I was supposed to put my foot. I did all kinds of maneuvers to stop myself from falling, however I still hurt my foot and it hurts to walk! I've been limping ever since and it hurts to put my weight on it.

I'll probably go to the dr tomorrow.

Hope everybody has a good week!!!

  7. Cool Thread!!

I'm sailing out of Fort Lauderdale in November but I live in Australia, so I really don't think that I'm going to make that. LOL

I do want to get back into running though, I had gotten up to doing about 16 k's and then stopped and got fat and lazy.

Now I've started walking again and want to build up back to what I used to be able to do.

  8. Hey everybody!

Love the weekly poems, I don't know how you do it, I don't have a creative bone in my body.

I lost 800 grams this week, for a total of 9.3 kilos. That's about 20 pounds. My goal is to lost another 18.7 kilos (40 pounds) before November.

1/3 of the way there with 7 1/2 months to go!

I did horrible on St. Patrick's Day, I got together with some girlfriends and went to an irish pub..... Then we went to the casino.............. :o

Anyway, I had to dip into my weeklies. LOL :p

  9. Hi again everyone!

I lost 1.1 kilos this week for a total of 8.5 kilos. A little over 18 pounds total I think??

Shootr, loving all the Hawaii pics, great job on keeping up with exercise.

I can't remember everyone's name, but to those who gained, don't worry about it! It's probably just water/bloating.

I'm really struggling with exercise, I hate it. Lol

  10. I lost 100 grams this week. Not much, but honestly, a loss is a loss!

We'll see how I do next week, I've already screwed up majorly two days this week. My fiancé was on a business trip so I invited some girlfriends over..... 2 bottles of wine and a whole pizza later, let's just say I went well over my daily point allowed and weekly point allowance.

    Back on the wagon today!:D

  11. Hi Everybody,

I've been following "Lose Before you Cruise" for a while, and even though I don't really post much, I want to start making myself more accountable!

I'm getting married in Vegas in November and then having our honeymoon on the Freedom of the Seas!

I'm above the weight limit for some of the excursions my fiancé wants to do, so right now my goal is just to get below the weight limit and build up my fitness enough to enjoy the activities on the cruise. I have 0 stamina and get tired easily, and I get tired and sore I get unbelievably grumpy.... To put it nicely.

I joined WW in January and so far so good. I've lost a little over 7 kilos and with the app on my iPhone I find the program very easy to follow.

My usual weigh-in day is on Monday's and this week I lost 900 grams.

  12. Hi Everybody,

I'm not really a poster but I read the forums a lot. Even though you have no idea who I am, I feel like I know you :p

  13. Hello again!

I have no personal experience AT ALL, but from what I read on the other boards is that they do air and makeup but you literally have to run to the spa the second you board and book your appointment!!!

Once lady posted on here that she did exactly that and the first appointment of the morning was already taken!!!

So I'd say, board as early as you can and go straight to the spa and BOOK!!!

    :D

  14. I'm sure somebody with more knowledge on the matter will reply. I'm newly engaged trying to decide if I want to have a cruise wedding so I read the boards a lot. LOL :D

I'm under the impression that Royal Carribean includes some photographs in their package, while Carnival does not. I've read that 1 8 x 10 photograph can go as high as $30. I think that's where the difference comes in.

  15. Thank you! Hope you guys had a great V-day!!

Are you guys getting married in Arizona before you go on the cruise??? To make sure it's officially official??

I love Vegas, that's why I'm considering getting married there, but I love cruising also! My boyfriend and I got engaged on a cruise. My issue is that I'm an American living in Australia. My entire family is in Florida and his entire family is here. Everyone is going to have to travel no matter, and my mom WILL NOT get on an airplane to come here. LOL I don't blame her, she's got anxiety issues and 16 hours is a long time to be on an airplane.

His parents are willing to fly to America though, but that's probably it for his family. LOL
