Did anyone know that you cannot use them to book a cruise thru a TA. I am referring to the egift cards that I thought were exactly the same as you book thru Carnival. When you book thru Carnival direct you can use with TA, but these one's say you can't . . . . hmmmm

I just bought one and it is exactly like the egift cards you can buy on Carnival's site . . . except its 10% cheaper . . . I bought one to check it out but will be buying multiple ones for sure!

I've been holding a spot for 2 weeks now . . . really waiting on price drops . . . its an August cruise . . . when its about to expire, I check rate . . . if same or lower (already reduced once), I cancel hold then place another new hold . . I am just holding a GTY room so I don't care about same room or anything.

we traveled the day before and walked over to a publix and bought cheap mouse for my hair and then 2 cans of suntan lotion. I left the extra mouse and what was left of the 1 can in the room. we also stopped at the wine and liquor store and bought our two bottles for our carry on

Hubby and I did the Freedom June 1 with just a carry-on each, 1 beach bag, and 1 bookbag. Had plenty of clothes but we do get free laundry for t-shirts/underwear/sleeping stuff . . . for perspective my hubby is a 2X and I am a Large (because size of clothes do make a difference)

Why did you only have 1 drink at past guest . . . I think I had 5 vodka and diet cokes . . . that is one thing a lot of people don't know, you can order a drink that is not on the tray.

be careful, you may inadvertently lose the $200 OBC . . .

I already used mine and paid off 4 cruises thru spring 2015. With that said, I think if people did what I did and just paid off existing reservation, Carnival will find that they just discounted what they would have gotten anyway . . .

Time will tell.

Cd Schedule says Cory Rogers off, Malcolm on but doesn't give dates for when that occurs in August. I have had both Cory and Malcolm. Both are good. Cory is more visible and has more energy.

On two separate occasions I've made a 9:35 flight when arriving in Miami and flying out of Miami . . . I admit . . . anything can go wrong, but I chanced it and luck held out.

Was just on her in June and the pool and hottub are adults only all the time. However the aft area itself is not. There is an ice cream machine back there and it draws lots of kids to the area.

What is the Private Pack and Play rate? Is it another exclusive offering to a select group?

The rest of our day was spent playing in the water, having a good time and drinking. Mom started not feeling well so she headed back to the ship to take a nap. She didnt even get in the water! I take after her in someways in that aspect. Going into the ocean water here at home.. NO WAY JOSE.. its cold and yucky. Could not pay me enough to go in the ocean here. However, take me to paradise and I am all over it!!

 

For people that have never been to HMC....get there.. someway, somehow... just get there!!!!

 

I did not even have to wear my water sandles into the water.. screw that in HMC...don't need to wear them!!!

 

The sand is like baby powder on your tootsies... feels so good! When I could go out to water shoulder high and I could still see my feet.. WINNING!!!

I just love HMC . . . first tender over and LAST tender back . . . I literally stayed in the water 95% of the time . . . only left to go to BBQ for lunch!!!

We were on Lido and it was quiet with the exception of when people met in the hall to socialize....that was just cause there was a whole family in about 4 or 5 rooms.....

that can happen on any floor anywhere on the ship . . . we had kids running from one family room to the other family room down the hall and were very loud and we were on Deck 1 Rivera on the Liberty.

We were on Lido and it was quiet with the exception of when people met in the hall to socialize....that was just cause there was a whole family in about 4 or 5 rooms.....

We were on deck 9 in May. Actually pretty good location . . no one except those with rooms have reason to go down to those rooms. I did notice they kept the big doors nearest the elevators closed at night when some of the atrium noise may make its way up to the rooms. We heard nothing.

We were on Freedom with you. I Loved the 88 Key's production show . . . I liked them all but 88 Key's was my favorite.

I ordered mine through e-cards and got it immediately. The bonus card will come as a separate email in a few days. At least it better arrive.

Mary, did you have to do 5 separate transactions? I think that is what I am seeing.

just booked for our day off the Freedom on June 9 . . . so happy since our flight isn't til 5:50 pm!!!

Surprised to see the dining tables on Lido just out there in the middle of the deck, in full sun. Seems like it might get a tad warm out there in the Caribbean around noon, no? And looks like that should be prime bake-all-day lounger territory.

 

So much pink (most definitely not my favorite color) and so many donuts. But, yeah. So what? I'll be on a wonderful cruise. I often look around and think "what were they thinking?" but the decor really doesn't matter to me

 

Looking forward to seeing the differences between Splendor and the Conquest-class ships.

Those tables are only there on embarkation day . . . from then on, there were loungers and then some area for Entertainment team activities (dancing and such).

Nice review. I was on the week before you. It's a local port for me so I tend to cruise out of NYC a lot.
