I plan on going when they start again. No sense in worrying about what may happen. You can do all the so called "right things" and in the end it doesn't make a bit of difference. Just like the song says, "Live like you were dying".

Received my refund today. Refund was requested on March 25th, so a total of 51 days waiting. The refund was in a total of five payments and added up to the proper amount.
For those who have had credit cards reissued, my initial deposit spanned three credit card numbers (account not closed but new card number issued) due to BofA account being compromised.

Received $25 refund today for cruise canceled on 3/25. 🤔 Maybe tomorrow will bring the rest.

I got some refund amounts today on my credit card but not the full amount yet. I think I read they can come in chunks, but for those who have already gotten their refunds, how many days apart were the refund chunks spaced out when they appeared on your credit card?
When did you request the refund? It's been a week since they said they refunded ours. I call B.S. Longest it's ever taken me to have a refund processed is 4 days. I think the emails are just a stall tactic, so you wait a week after each email.
UPDATE: Called after posting this, on hold for about 1 minute. They told me it's been processed, gave me the amounts and cards to be refunded on. They said it takes 7-10 days to process - so supposedly by this Friday.

we were expecting the refund at was supposedly processed 5/6 to hit today but so far nothingwe have some charges unrelated to RC that are still showing pending so BoA may just be slow but it is frustrating when a charge can show up on my account in 3 seconds but a refund takes months
We were expecting the same thing according to their email in response to their email in response to their confirmation, allegedly processed on 5/6 and nothing so far either. 49 days and counting.

You have only begun to wait. We're almost at the 7 week mark.

Not sure if bar harbor will follow suit but Portland announced no cruise ships this year.
I am not sure what the status is for Canada ports as of now but it looks like New England cruising may be done for this year if the cruising industry can get back up and running.
Do you have a reference? I don't see anything on Portland's website https://www.portlandmaine.gov/ . I'm scheduled for August 30, 2020.

Cruises cancelled March 17th and March 25th.... still waiting.
Update: Today, April 25th, I received my credit for the March 17th cruise that I cancelled, so a total wait time of 39 days for a full refund. (This was a refundable deposit only that I had on a future cruise.)
The March 25th cancellation was a cruise RCL cancelled. The only thing I have received is an email yesterday they were refunding my cruise planner, which had nothing to refund.

The day I graduated HS I began growing a mustache and a goatee. My wife who met me 4 years later never saw me clean shaven, A few years ago I decided to shave my mustache and beard and her reaction was to tell me never to shave again, lol.
My wife had never seen me without a mustache either. Was caught in a "flash over fire" which singed all my hair and had to shave off the remains. She asked me never to do that again.
She asked me to trim her hair once... 'nuff said.

We sail out of Bayonne or Baltimore every year the first couple of weeks in December. The first two days and the last two days are almost always cool to cold on the outside decks. So far the seas have not been bad his time of year when we've gone. The intense Nor'easters tend to be in the months of January - March. (We live on the South Jersey coast.)

Our November 30th cruise on Grandeur is $39 for 12N. With the 18% gratuity, $100/day for two.

Yesterday, I was told my refund was processed, what credit card it was going to be refunded to and that it would be in these two specific amounts. He said it should show up in a few days... we will see.

It took 3 weeks to get refunded our excursion. We cancelled them about a week before they cancelled our cruise. Went for the cruise refund, still waiting after a month.

I canceled a refundable cruise a month ago for 2022, still no refund of deposit.
I canceled an excursion last month for another cruise, after three weeks was credited to cc.
RCL canceled our cruise for this month last month, took the refund, nothing yet.

UBS seems to think they will survive barring any long term shut downs.

"CCL's capital raise last week gives it the longest runway of liquidity to stay afloat in a zero-revenue scenario, at about 12-13 months with potential for another 2 months based on prolonged layups, and more beyond that (as we detail below.) That puts CCL further ahead of RCL, which we believe has ~10 months of liquidity in a zero-rev scenario, and NCLH which we believe has ~7-8 months of liquidity in such a scenario."

We're not thinking of cancelling at all. Our next cruise, 11N, is in April.

First time cruiser with NCL, long time RCL cruiser. When requesting a price drop with NCL, do the port taxes and fees remain the same even though current taxes and fees are now higher at today's booking price? With the Black Friday sale, my cruise rate has dropped but the taxes and fees have increased significantly so that even with the fare drop the overall price is more expensive. With RCL, you can reprice as many times as you want, but the tax/port fees never change whether higher or lower.

The last couple of times I was on the Grandeur, they put up a "Private Event" sign at the entrance to the South Pacific Lounge.
I have done this 12N itinerary 4x and I will be on this cruise on the 30th as well. The overflow lounge is typically packed for this sailing.

Yes, I am willing to do all that you mentioned, including being quarantined if required. I have lived my life with the understanding tomorrow is not a given. After having faced death head-on out-of-the-blue last year, it just reaffirmed it.
