If you are at the top, what do you do with the jewelry? Or do people just go back down the stairs?

There is no place to store any valuables so be sure to remove any jewelry (including thin wedding bands!) before you get into the line for the drop slides. All other slides are fine to wear jewelry on. Just an FYI...my son did get a pretty bad "rash burn" on the slide. They do offer pads you can use to protect your back, which I used.

If they are the same as the Getaway then yes, you must be over 100 pounds to ride and they do weigh you. The other three slides are super fun too though, my DD who didn't make the weight limit loved them.

Enjoying your review. We were on the same sailing and had an outstanding time! I'm sorry to hear about the pub crawl, I was wondering how it went (or in this case, didn't). We had our kids with us so we didn't plan to attend. We also LOVED the Flamingo Grill and ate lunch there often. Loved the bar staff in that area too.

No, we would not be interested in sailing on NCL as an adult only cruise.

Yes ! my son was indeed the one who did the rope course. Thanks so much for noticing him. He really enjoyed the rope course, wish we would have gone back to do it more then once. We had a great time!

We were behind you while he was getting his little mini harness on, so adorable! I loved how the NCL employee took his hand and walked him over to the course, it was so cute!

There were so many things we wished we had time to do more then once (and a few things we never had a chance to do).

Great review! We were on this sailing as well and had an amazing time! I'm wondering if I saw your little boy on the mini ropes course? There was the cutest little blonde boy and my daughter (who is 9) was just amazed at how well he was doing:)!

We were on this sailing too and had a fabulous time! We had our kids with us as well and agree with everything you said. We did Illusionarium on Thursday night which was perfect and we loved it! My daughter went up on stage early on in the show and she was thrilled! Agree also about Sugarcane, mojitos were awesome. Family comedy was enjoyed by all. Howl at the Moon was super fun for adults! None of us can wait to go again!

Glad you had a great week! We were also on the same sailing and had an amazing time! We had a few concerns after reading reviews/complaints but found none of them to be true. We were not in a Haven cabin, we were in a large balcony (9130) and thought it was awesome. I can't wait to sail again!:D

We haven't sailed yet but I have also heard on the drop slides one must weigh greater then 100 pounds in order to ride. I'm not sure if this is in addition to a height restriction.

The NCL excursion hasn't changed its time yet:rolleyes: Still leaves at 8 for 4 1/2 hours.

They have changed it now to leave slightly earlier at 7:30am.

Most of the other lines still have traditional dining. Some (like Carnival) offer a choice of your time dining (flexible like NCL) or traditional dining.
