We did Little French Key in Roatan and it was amazing! We did Goff's Caye in Belize and wasn't thrilled (enclosed boat to and from was awful, snorkeling gear was broken but the Caye was gorgeous) and Paradise Beach in Cozumel. PB in Coz was an awesome day including a beautiful pool, inflatables, kayaks, paddleboards, chairs, umbrellas all at a great price. We love the ports you are visiting and will miss them on our next cruise! Have fun!

Thank you for all the great, detailed information and taking the time to write it:). Your nephew is fortunate to have an Aunt who takes him on cruises!

Thank you for taking the time to write this, I am appreciating your tips. Looking forward to more:).

Thank you for sharing, that review was outstanding and I believe written by a teenager. Very well done!

We chose the UBP...huge savings for us. Myself, DH and 2 kiddos. Can't wait!

We have never sailed on the Dawn but I can say that my kids LOVED sailing on the Dream. They enjoyed the activities and waterworks kept them very busy, staff was wonderful too. We are trying the Getaway this time but it was a tough decision, kids wanted a repeat on the Dream. The UBP and different food options swayed us toward Getaway and NCL.

We will be stopping in Roatan, Cozumel, Costa Maya, an Harvest Caye. We have daughters age 7 and 11 at time of sailing. Looking into Playa Mia day pass in Coz, but any suggestions for the other ports without breaking the bank? Am I correct in thinking that Harvest Caye will be similar to Great Stirrup/Labadee/Coco in so far as having an included buffet and free beach?
We did the Western route October 2013 and our kids were 7 and 11 at the time. I HIGHLY recommend Little French Key in Roatan. It was amazing and our kids still talk about it almost every day. We did Paradise Beach in Cozumel and they also had an absolute blast on the water inflatables for a very reasonable cost. Costa Maya was basically shopping for us (we were only in port until 2:00) and we didn't go to Harvest Caye but did visit Belize. We took a private excursion and snorkeled at an Atoll. We just booked the Eastern Caribbean on Getaway for October and both kids were a little sad not to be going back to LFK in Roatan. Happy Planning!!

Outstanding! Thanks for sharing...it looks like your family had a wonderful vacation!

You are very welcome and I'm glad you had an amazing time. We just went back to LFK last month and it's even more amazing. Did you get to read my updated review on it from our Sun cruise? If not, I can give you the link. :)
No, I sure didn't. I haven't been on here much over the past year or so but now that we are going on another cruise...I am back! I am going to look for your latest review now, I am certain it is fantastic!

We just returned today from a (2 week) cruise and went back to LFK. I have to say the place is totally different now and 110% even better (if that's possible). I will be doing a review on it, but have over 3500 pictures to work on, so I won't be able to get to it before you go. Just know that the place is even more amazing and they have done A LOT of work to the place. We spent a big portion of the day with the owner and he is just as amazing and so kind. Have a great time!
You're welcome.
I just wanted to say Thank You for your review! After reading it we booked the Dream and went to LFK (back in Oct 2013). We too are returning because we had such an amazing experience! So happy to hear about the improvements...we thought it was perfection before! Can't wait for our next visit!

We did the beach break in Freeport. The drinks were flowing and delicious, the beach itself was awful. Completely full of seaweed and very dirty. We had a great time regardless listening to music and enjoying the cocktails (large selection) but would not do this excursion again. Also, the bus shuttle to the beach took forever...

Another fan of Keen's here, DH (44), myself and both kids LOVE them. I have a cute strappy style (not sure what it's called) and the rest of the family have the more traditional styles. We have walked miles and miles around Disney without any problems. They are awesome!

We have stayed at the Marriott Courtyard (our favorite), Marriott Residence Inn (great location to the port) and The Ron Jon Resort (spacious rooms, waterslide, indoor play area, pricey).

We were on the Dream last Halloween. There are a lot of decorations, pumpkin carving contests, lots and lots of people in costumes. Not sure if you have kids or not but they did offer trick or treating. My poor kids missed it and were disappointed. (Not that disappointed, they were enjoying the water slides and we didn't realize the time!!)

I agree, Dream or Breeze! They have a ton of things that teenagers can enjoy. Great ships, good itineraries too.

Love your review and pictures! We sail on her in May...can't wait!
-
I am so excited! I have 7.5 hours left of work for the week and then its SPRING BREAK! :) I am excited to get on the ship!
Have a great trip!! We sail on her for the first time in May. Aft cabin too:)!

We had an OV on The Dream, 2 adults and 2 kids. We were fine, didn't feel crowded at all. Of course, we didn't spend too much time in the cabin (also The Dream has 2 bathrooms). We are sailing on The Fascination in May with 3 adults (aft balcony), not sure how that will be? Maybe you can report back your experience?
-
Thank you for taking the time to write your review! I have found it very helpful in planning our upcoming trip. I have never been on a smaller ship but after reading your experience, I have zero worries and think we are really going to enjoy it!
-
We always have late dinner and never really feel like we are missing anything. We like to stay outside on the deck until early evening and then take our time getting ready and having cocktails. We have never really noticed missing any activities around that time.
-
Your the best thank you for posting!!
I agree! Thank you for posting so many great pictures and helpful information!

Anyone that is sailing on the Fascination beginning March 8th through the middle or end of May are in for a treat with the CD, Corey Rogers! We had Corey on the Dream 2 years ago and he was awesome! One of the best if not the best in the fleet! Have fun and enjoy!
That's me! We sail on May15th! Looking forward to a fun CD!! We sailed on the Dream back in October and we had James something(?) as our CD. He was fine but not memorable:/.

We liked Paradise Beach. It offers kayaks, inflatables, paddle boards and snorkeling equipment, as well as a very nice swimming pool and umbrellas for about $20pp. We had an absolute blast and didn't wanted to leave...kids and adults. No jet skis though...
