Across the way from the Cloud 9 Spa, is the Cloud 9 Fitness Center….. Patti checks out the Punchliner Comedy Club…… We had five comedians aboard the Celebration this cruise. They were Tim Young, Tommy Drake, Jorge Marroquin “DJ Cooch”, Percy Crews 2, and Billy D. Washington. To be continued…..

Don't I know it. When I had my right hip done in 2019, I was driving in two weeks! When I feel it's time I have no qualms about getting the left hip done. My left knee however, I am not looking forward to.

Here is the Adventure OTS and Jewel OTS docked in Costa Maya….. Looking at the Flowrider and water slides on the Adventure OTS….. The Serenity Pool is fairly busy….. This is the entrance to Loft 19….. Here is the Seaside Theater and the Red Frog Tiki Bar….. Patti makes her way down to Deck 6 forward. This is the entrance to the Cloud 9 Spa…… Since we don’t have a spa cabin or spa pass, we can’t tour the Thermal Suites. We’ll cover that on embarkation day when we’re back on the Celebration in January. To be continued…..

Once back on the ship, my hip was still barking at me, so I went back to the cabin, applied some Lidocaine, took some painkillers, and then took a nap. Patti went up to the Marketplace to make herself a salad, and then went out on the open decks to take some pictures. She got these of the port area and the shoreline looking south….. Patti took a bunch of shots of the Valiant Lady’s upper decks….. To be continued…..

Patti laughed when she saw her drink! We knew that the picture would get a "rise" from everybody! 😁

The Valiant Lady is docked right across from the Celebration….. The Jewel OTS has joined us here in Costa Maya….. In the distance we can see the Adventure OTS approaching Costa Maya….. Here are views of the sterns of the Jewel OTS and the Valiant Lady….. The Celebration and Valiant Lady are almost touching each other…. We head up the gangway and back onto the Celebration….. Patti meets me back at Husband Daycare and we have one last drink there together. I continue to drink Dos Equis, while Patti has a pina colada in a palm tree cup….. Around noon we decided to head back to the ship. Here are a few more random views as we made our way out of the port area….. To be continued…..

There is a smaller pool down by the water….. They have a small swim up bar….. Loungers, hammocks, and daybeds are available….. The Mojito Bar and El Faro Restaurant are down there….. There are lockers, showers, and changing rooms available….. To be continued……

Patti heads over to the Aviary. She did the full tour last time we were here, so she’s not going to repeat it…… There is a small bar here for drinks….. Here are some Flamingo pictures….. Now that I’m being well taken care of, Patti is heading out to explore the port area. This is the large pool right next to the Husband Daycare….. The Valiant Lady is arriving at the port. She will be docking next to the Celebration…. Patti is going to check out the Dolphin Discovery….. To be continued…..

Here are some views as we made our way to Husband Daycare….. Here’s the Fish Spa….. I have made it to Husband Daycare, and I am the first one here. All the beers I drink here today are for medicinal purposes only!!! Patti scouts out where the nearest bathrooms are so I can save the wear and tear on my hip….. To be continued…..

As we were making our way off the pier, out of the blue, my left hip started to hurt really bad. This is the hip that I haven’t replaced yet. I thought about returning to the ship, but then I figured I could make it to Husband Daycare. What a trooper I am! Lol! Here are some views as we made our way off the pier….. Right at the end of the pier is where you meet for the various tours….. A lot of the venues are not yet open….. To be continued…..

I’m going to have a breakfast burrito…. I choose the jalapeno tortilla and load it up with Mexican eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, onions, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and hot sauce….. My burrito is served up with a smile…… I’m happy with my burrito as it is, but you can spice yours up some more at the Salsa Bar….. I take my burrito over to the Red Frog Tiki Bar and order a Thirsty Frog Wheat. My “Breakfast of Champions” is now complete! After I finished eating, I took this early morning picture of the Beach Pool, as I made my way back to the cabin….. We left the ship just before 9am. Here is the Celebration docked in Costa Maya….. We are being entertained as we make our way off the pier….. The Valiant Lady is coming to join us in Costa Maya….. The Jewel OTS and Adventure OTS will also be arriving later this morning, so it’s going to get pretty crowded here today. To be continued…..

Day # 4 - (4/19/23) - Costa Maya (8am – 5pm). We were up at 7am just as the Celebration was preparing to dock at Costa Maya. It’s going to be a beautiful day today. Once again, the ships time is one hour ahead of local time. Here is the view looking forward and aft from our balcony….. Here’s a view of the port area…… That’s the Lost Maya Kingdom Waterpark in the distance….. Since yesterday was a beach day, and tomorrow is going to be a beach day, today we’ll just walk around the port area. We are in no rush to get off the ship. Here are today’s Fun Times….. Patti isn’t hungry for breakfast, but I am, so I head up to the Blue Iguana Cantina to get my “Breakfast of Champions” ……. To be continued…..

Congrats to the Canes! They clearly were the better team. I'm happy with the Devil's season. They improved over last year by 49 points, had the third most points in the league, and beat the hated Rangers in the first round. But most of all, the kids now have some playoff experience, which should pay off in the years to come!

Glad to have you back! Did you post your review in the review section? If so, I don't know how long they keep them. I would think a review from 2017 should still be there. If you posted on the boards, they stay there forever.
