Bill is just fantastic! Hopefully he will narrate your sail-in to NYC!

Your TA probably has it on file.
-
We just booked a cruise for the first time on NC and our Crystal Society number worked!
-
Not Vince but - we have always felt there is terrific value in using a TA. A TA will go to bat for you, ie get your dinner res when the website won't allow it, arrange special celebrations for you, provide some remuneration in the form of either shipboard credit, a credit, a nice gift, etc. We met our TA in 1998 and we're still with her. She really provides great service so well worth whatever we pay vs a discount TA or doing it on our own. Just MHO.

Is this concern overblown, or is it a real problem?
For me this is a real concern. You either have to keep your drapes closed or your lights off. This makes the room dark all the time which, for me, is depressing. Open drapes and lights on, people on the promenade can see everything - not that they do, just that they can.

The shampoo made my gray hair yellow, and I don't mean blond!

I love that the waiters don't clear until everyone is finished. That is so courteous to the slower eater. In today's world they grab the plate before you swallow your last bite, one day I'll find out they are short of plates and need to wash mine for the next table.

Yes, Dover castle is a great place to visit. Another is the WW2 museum inside the White Cliffs, truly an excellent experience.

TxCotn, we were on board when that happened to someone. They had to bebark in slippers.
Keith
That had to be me🙄 No one else is dumb enough to pack their shoes!

For the bath product people who are dissatisfied - I've been around long enough to remember the Neutrogena! We've come a long way, Baby!

In an emergency, any size will do. I once packed my shoes and was about to disembark barefoot (in Athens😱) when I remembered the slippers! Even though I identify with Patty (6 1/2) I made it work with the size 12 slippers. Then the comedian sat in front of me on the bus🙄.
PS I found my shoes right away and did not have to travel all the way home in slippers.

Keith - I remember that TV appearance like it was yesterday. I was in college and one of the girls had about a 9x9inch portable TV (TOTALLY illegal!) and we all crowded around her doorway to just get a glimpse! Such exciting times. I was really an Elvis baby and now we have the Elvis station on our car radio. Our young grandkids insisted that their parents load it too! Now that you have absorbed the Beatles history, do go to Graceland, well worth the time and see what life was like when you were in kindergarten!

Thank you! You may read between the lines (or not), but you just may find us with a Piggly Wiggly bag of beets on the gangway in FTL with you in early November. If our driver can find the Serenity with 8-count-em ships in FTL on November 8…
Stay tuned….😁
Rob & Jim
So you’ll be on the Nov 8 to Barbados? BtoB? Hope to meet you both.

Thank you for taking us along on this voyage. We’ll be sailing in early November and you have really whet the appetite! It takes dedication to post regularly (I usually give up by day 3) and you rose to the challenge. I just hope there are beets on board when we get to Ft Lauderdale. 😎

Lucky you! We love the BeeGees when you go back to Liverpool be sure to do ALL the Beatles stuff. There’s a 2nd site where they have a 4D movie which is lots of fun. Liverpool was much nicer than I expected and the docking place was so convenient.

We have found that we can get a good cappuccino in the Cove bar.

We've never been sake fans, even of the high end bottle gifted to us by our nephew. However, if there were a sake VR lunch, we would try it in a heartbeat and maybe learn something new. Our next cruise is port intensive so I suspect there won't be the opportunity, but maybe our next multi sea day.....

That's a nice little zoo. One of the macaws tried to take DH's shoe when we visited!

Re falls - I was seriously ill this past winter and I'm still working on my strength. Needless to say I have fallen 3 times😱 and DH can't help much due to shoulder issues. So we have been forced to call the Fire Dept. They come within 5 minutes and are so young and adorable I'm going to adopt them. Then we bring them treats to the Fire House. We're very fortunate to have them so close and so responsive, but the actual falling is quite demoralizing!
