Regent and (ex-)Oceania cruiser sails Celebrity Ascent (long-ish)

We were also on the Ascent TA and could not agree more with Marne’s review. This was also the smoothest and best weather crossing of the 8 TAs with have taken. Capt Tasso and Alejandro were amazing. We’ve also had great cruises with Capt Matt and Guissepe. The entire Ascent crew was also fantastic providing excellent service with a great attitude. Looking forward to our next X cruise. -
I am currently on the Ascent enjoying a cigar and scotch in the Sunset bar, Deck 15, starboard. I was on Beyond last November and did the same. Very enjoyable.

$19 a glass for these wines is outrages. In Texas these bottles retail (liquor/wine store) for $18. On premise accounts (restaurants and bars) in Texas pay around $12-$14. It is common practice in restaurants to charge the bottle cost for a glass of wine. $12-$14 a glass. With Celebrity/RCCL and SilverSeas buying power, they may even get a better price than the $12-$14 a bottle.
