Cabin 7001 or 7002 riviera/marina

Any opinions on these two cabins? Quiet,too far forward,balcony coverage etc? I'm thinking of upgrading from inside 8080. Thanks, Dr54

I prefer the Deck cabins at the back but 7001 and 7002 are B3 extended balconies that a lot of people like. Balconies are approx 12 feet deep and you can have loungers on them that you can't get on regular balconies.

Those are two of the so called "extended veranda" cabins which are usually very in demand, so if you are serious about upgrading don't wait too long!

Because deck 7 has staterooms both above and below it, it is usually one of the quietest decks on the ship. FYI the White area forward of 7001 represents Officers Quarters.

Veranda wise, you're far enough down from the pool overhang (the pool is deck 12) that shade from it isn't an issue, but some people dislike being under the bridge wing.

7001 would be located just above the second A in Marina, 7002 would be above the N, but on the opposite side of the ship .

Just booked 7108 (corner extended balcony) for a Marina grand voyage in 2017. Can't see opting for an "upgrade" offer that isn't a "once in a lifetime" offer.
