Glacier Point Wilderness Safari

I dug up some old pictures. The first one of my DH has Davidson Glacier in the background. To give you an idea of the size of the glacier, it was a mile away at that point. We paddled past the iceberg and several others. The seal lions were seen on the catamaran on the way to Haines. Beautiful scenery.

I just did this excursion and it was awesome :) the tour guides and vendor are top notch and the views were amazing. Granted it does depend on weather. And we didn't see much wildlife on the hour long boat ride (do not recommend if you have back problems since it the boat goes fast and it is very bumpy) but the week after I heard they saw lots.
