Carriecruises Posted February 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2018 We flew in to NOLA and staying in the FQ. We would love to take the street car to the Garden District. Is this possible and if so, where do you get on at?

Is this possible and if so, where do you get on at? Walk over to Poydras which is one over from Canal, the edge of the FQ. You get off at the other end and pay again to come back, unless things have changed. It’s a lovely ride past beautiful homes. Very peaceful. Commander’s Palace is only a couple off blocks from a stop. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

loanshark Posted February 26, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2018 The St Charles streetcar actually goes to Canal St / Carondelet St.
dsotm73 Posted March 4, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2018 The St Charles streetcar actually goes to Canal St / Carondelet St. Yep, no reason to walk to Poydras as someone directed. Riding the St. Charles line is one of the best tourist recommendations we can make, given the relatively low cost for the ride. There is an app that has route maps and even allows you to buy tickets online.
