J & G Posted December 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2017 Is it possible to stay over in port after the ship has departed and catch up with the ship in the next port? If so, what does one have to do to make that happen? Sent from my iPad using Forums
Grandma Cruising Posted December 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2017 Yes, you can do that, same as doing an overnight tour from the ship, which we did on our last cruise. You would obviously have to book your own flights between the two ports, and your hotel. If you decide to do that you would need to tell Guest Relations on board what you are doing. It’s also a good idea to tell your stateroom steward, so they don’t think you’ve gone missing. You might have to ensure that you got your passport back before you left the ship at the port you’re intending to stay at. Again Guest Relations can organise that for you. If the two ports are in different countries you might have to organise your own visa. Sent from my iPad using Forums
