Long Beach Carnival bag question

I will have a rental car that i will need to return to Long Beach Airport before cruise. How early can i drop bags off at cruise port with porter at Long Beach docks?

I need to drop bags off then head to aiport and drop car off, then Uber back to port.

Im basically trying to prevent from hauling bags from Long Beach Airport to Long Beach cruise port.

So how early. Thanks all!

Porters are there early. But I’d get there around 9:30 to avoid most of the debarking pax.

does Alamo offer free shuttle from Long Beach like they do in MIami?

Enterprise does, Hertz did for my Mom. But she dropped off at the locations near Ocean Blvd and the convention center.

The cruise port and airport are 11 miles, 20 minutes, apart.

A-why not drop car in Long Beach city downtown and not at airport which is farther away

B- if you'll be in a car/Uber/Lyft etc the driver will help you with your bags so no need to go to port to drop them and then drop car. That to me is an extra trip.
