Able Seaman H Posted January 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Our latest video from Seabourn Sojourn. A Caribbean cruise which included Christmas and the New Year. The ship had just undergone a re-fit where restaurant 2 was replaced with The Grill by Thomas Keller. vWEwoHP5Pkc Henry

Able Seaman H Posted January 10, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Thanks for the kind words. I find it easy to "see" an image but editing is hard so I'm afraid it is a bit formulaic compared to some of the more energetic stuff we see. I also like the challenge of having to think on your feet and capture things which might only be a fleeting glimpse. Missed a cracking rainbow from the balcony which was only there for 30 seconds in a passing shower ! I love taking the camera for a walk in the various ports in the same way you would take your dog for a walk at home. Gives me a reason to go and explore. I particularly enjoyed a sleepy Charlestown, Nevis on a quiet Sunday. A chance to see the Caribbean without Diamonds International, Carlos & Charlies or thousands of cruise ship guests :) Henry :)
Tommy3putts Posted January 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Wow another great video. I’m a huge fan. I seem to recall you did a beautiful video of your med cruise a few years back. I wish I had your eye for shots. Thanks for sharing Cheers Tom
Able Seaman H Posted January 17, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Thanks for that Tom Yes, I've done a few videos now. The Med, South Africa, Panama Canal, Suez Canal, Asia all whilst cruising on Seabourn. I've even given a couple of impromptu talks on how to make better holiday videos whilst onboard which was fun. There are a few mistakes which people commonly make and I've devised a pretty simple formula which works for anyone. Ultimately I'd love to run an enrichment program / workshop onboard. I think there are enough people who want to keep a memory of their cruise and post something online for friends to see. Henry :)
