Late Departure

I am cruising on the Magic in May of 2019 from Fort Lauderdale. It will be the first cruise after the ship changes ports. It says the departure time is 9 pm. Does anyone know about when boarding starts on a late departure like this?

Absolutely no way. The ship has to debark passengers in Miami that morning then reposition to Ft. Lauderdale. If things go perfectly boarding will begin mid-afternoon, but in my own experience boarding in Ft. Lauderdale after a same-day reposition from Miami was a complete fustercluck.
