First time in Bahamas on NCL Gem and planned a dolphin encounter. Weather is showing thunder daily. How predictable is it? I know tropical places can have quick passing showers. I’m hoping this is the case as I’m really looking forward to the dolphins.

I’d be shocked if rainy weather ruined your day in the Bahamas. There’s always the chance of a shower or storm, but you’re right...they usually pass quickly. On my cruise last August we were to have rain at every port. Not one drop.

When is your cruise, ALS? The 10-day forecast for Nassau is looking pretty good but really, any forecasts beyond 3 days aren't very accurate. Rain showers are very normal in the Bahamas in the summer and don't usually last all day. Unless the forecast says 80-90% chance of rain, I wouldn't worry. :)
