brian310 Posted November 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Anyone with recent experience on Crystal, especially Serenity? The last update was years ago, and looked good. 1. Blackjack payout? 2. Dealer hit on soft 17? 3. Surrender? 4. Still a pretty loose game? Can I use my BS card? I play just for fun, but it’s more fun when you win! Thanks in advance.... Anyone with stories on the slots are very welcome too! Edited November 19, 2017 by brian310
Rare Keith1010 Posted December 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2017 You may want to post this on the Crystal Cruises Board. Keith

Anyone with stories on the slots are very welcome too! Onboard now with a casino group, so it’s a pretty hopping casino this cruise. 1. 3:2 (happily Crystal has not gone to 6:5 like so many other ships, but no bonuses on BJ - no lucky ladies nor match the dealer) 2. Yes 3. No 4. Moderately loose. Tough sometimes though when they only have two tables open and one is $5 minimum and the other is $100! (What is a BS card?) Crystal only allows you to draw $2K per day ($500 against your onboard account and $1500 on your credit card) and you have to go to the cashier and wait for the internet to connect for approval (slow internet = slow approval). Slots are the tightest I have ever seen. I’ve played most of the machines and can’t seem to get bonuses nor anything larger than a $100-200 payout. I’ve seen a couple of $1K wins and heard (didn’t see) that someone hit $8K on a poker machine. The casino staff is very nice and the drink servers are always circulating. Let me know if you have any other questions. ~ Nancy :) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
nancydow Posted December 4, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2017 Sorry, I was wrong about #2 - dealers do NOT hit on soft 17. I was also informed that if you are a high roller, you can request surrender at your table but it needs to be worked out in advance. Any other questions I can answer for you (hopefully correctly the first time)? ~ Nancy :) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
