We were definitely planning on doing the unlimited drink package!! Now We are debating on doing the new Premium drink package with the $10 increase daily and the 15 drink max on alcohol (before you say it...yes I know 15 drinks is a lot but we want 1-2 really fun nights and we are treating our coastal Van to LA as a 3 night booze cruise). How's the new program? Also how are the casino drink comps???

I just got off the Ruby on Saturday and had the PBP. It was great. I did not see any drink offered that was more than the $12 limit and had no problem. The only change I saw was that soda cans were replaced with glasses of soda from the soda gun. While there is a 15 drink/day limit and I have been told that the computer system keeps track I did not have any problem. The most I drank on one sea day was 10 when I was in a serious party mode. Princess raised their drink prices so the PBP also went up. Party on!

If you aren't freaking blotto they will still serve you after 15 but will charge for the drinks. I tend to drink more than most (I think...) and I had no problem with the 15 drink limit on a recent 28 day cruise - not even on the two days my wife hid in the cabin and slept while trying to get rid of a cold she caught onboard. Two days "on my own" and I still didn't break the limit even though I did hang out in Wheelhouse and also hit a number of other bars.

As for a "booze cruise"... Hopefully you won't drive the other Princess cruisers nuts. Why not take a Carnival cruise instead? Carnival is a much better "booze cruise" line than Princess.

Thanks for the info!! We love princess, and trust me we will not annoy the other passengers. I should of stated that we are treating our 3 day cruise go Los Angeles as an all inclusive!!! We jst want to have a bunch of drinks while we watch all the games in Sunday! We don't do carnival cause the actual booze cruisers annoy us to death!! Thanks again for the feedback! quote=Thrak;54603071]If you aren't freaking blotto they will still serve you after 15 but will charge for the drinks.
