Racer70 Posted August 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2018 (edited) We'll be arriving on the Grandeur of the Seas on Monday, October 8 at 1:00 p.m. We want to go to Horseshoe Beach, but don't want to pay RCI to transport us. I'm assuming the mini-shuttle buses will be at the pier to take cruise passengers to Horseshoe Beach, even in early October? Is the price still $7 per person, each way? Is that cash or is credit card accepted too? Does the mini shuttle take you "down the hill" to drop you off. Do they pick you up at the same place (bottom of hill"? What is the latest time the buses leave from Horseshoe Beach in early October? I know there are lots of threads on the shuttle buses to Horseshoe Beach, but each one is a bit different. Thanks in advance. Edited August 11, 2018 by Racer70
Charles4515 Posted August 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2018 October is still cruise season. There is no reason to assume the minibus shuttles will operate any different in October than they have in earlier months this year. The minibuses are still $7 each way. There are a few that take credit cards but you should assume cash. They drop off down the hill and pick up at the same place. Ask the driver the last times but what they have told me is between 5 and 5:30. That is also when the concession closes. I never stayed that late to verify. billslowsky Posted August 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2018 Difference in cost compared to the public bus isn't that much if you consider that you don't have that trudge back up to the road. Lord I hate it.
