Explorer with Teens

Anyone go on Explorer this summer with teens? Looking for how the experience was. Also looking for Teen Compass. We are going next June and kids are buggin me for teen info. We went on Liberty this past June and they had a blast with the other teens they met onboard. The girls with be 16 and 17.

Any information and insight would be appreciated.

We were on Liberty in April with kids and Grand kids. As was said the

teens had a ball. We got off Explorer yesterday and I don"t think they

would have had as good of time. No water slides on Explorer but

it was a very great ship.

They should hit the teen club on the 1st night...that's when everyone "meets up"....they generally won't use the teen club much at that age...but they will meet others and do their own thing!

The pool and sports court is a main place for teens!

I//m sure they will have a good time, it will just be a different time... Kids at that age get together and have fun just hanging with their own kind. :D

The teens can meet after boarding in their club.

On most ships it is called FUEL.

I will be sailing later next summer on the Explorer, and do not know if their teen area is called fuel.

But

If not direct them there the first evening............times will be listed in the cruise compass, or at the open house the first afternoon. That is the only time the counselors will let adults in, after that it is a supervised kids area.

They will have a blast!!!!
