oxfordcrew2011 Posted June 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2017 We have been on several cruises ourselves but I am currently helping some friends book a world cruise with p and o. Any advice would be helpful. Since it is so much more money - should they do a ship lunch and book the £50 hold? For obc. Should they be port out starboard home? Do the world cruises get booked up early? Too many questions! Please help! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare Scrapnana Posted June 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2017 When it comes to World cruises there really is no "better" side. Some world cruises do sell out but most have some kind of cabin available almost up to sail date. However, if you want a certain type of cabin (or need a handicapped one), it is good to book early. If they are worried they won't like the ship then doing the £50 lunch might be worth it (especially if they will get it back as OBC).
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2017 I would post some of the questions on the P&O board because many people don't check out this section. Having taken several world cruises my focus is the location of the room on the deck but not which side we are on. If they are prone to being sea sick I would go mid ship. My experience on World Cruises is often the lower price rooms go fast as well as the higher priced point rooms. For more choices always wise to book early.
