Delta tip!

While this isn't related specifically to Alaska, it is related to my Alaskan cruise next June....

I went to book flights on delta today. First I looked up options on the app, then went to the website to book... The prices on the app were much cheaper, and there were way more flight options! Thinking it was user error, I double checked everything (how I was logged on, search criteria I used), and everything I put in was the same!

I ended up booking via the app and got better flight times and saved a couple $100...

Many companies, not just airlines / hotels, offer better prices and options by using their App. I am not a technology expert, but from what I have read, it is cheaper for the company when customers use the app rather than the website and much cheaper than when they call and talk to someone.

I did not know this so thanks for posting. Not sure how the app would be cheaper than the website since I would think they run through the same server....

I wonder if the award miles required for flights are the same :confused:
