I have not seen a sticky topic with a listing of Short Forms used on CC.

 

So I'm going start one

While this is NOT a Short Form, this does come up with those who are new to cruising.

Hump Cabin-->The part of the ship that "bows" out from the rest, About mid- ship

My DDs and DSs use Txt to BI and TS, but I use a SL due to OF and OOD tek. S&T uv lol ! u r fo######## that ppls still T!!

Some one NEEDS to CUT DOWN ON the COFFEE :p

CCL= Carnival Cruise Lines

CXC= Celebrity X Cruises or CC= Celebrity Cruises

HAL= Holland America Line

NCL= Norwegian Cruise Line

RCI= Royal Caribbean International or RCCL= Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (Limited)

AKA: = X = (logo) or, just X

 

Trivia: Celebrity line established by Chandris Group (John Chandris) "X" = chi = "Ch" sound in Greek, nationality of Chandris.
