Ship's time vs local time

I know this has been asked before...but I can't find it. Is there anywhere we can check to see if the ship's time and local time is different? Thanks.

as far as i know ships time becomes local time --you are lefte a reminder in your cabin to change your watch and all ships clocks are changed to local time and then the same thing occurs when it is time to sail into another time zone

On our last cruise, the ships time was one hour later than that on St. Martin. It was the only island on which we had a time difference. I don't know why.

Ship's time

We have had that happen a couple of times when the ship did not change their clocks or leave a notice in the passenger cabins. That was because we hit an island where we had only one time change.

As a rule of thumb, if you are visiting more than 1 island where there is a time change, then the ship will change the clocks. Otherwise - no ship clock time change.
