Eurodam dining assignment

We're booked on Eurodam at the end of February, 7-day western Caribbean. On the confirmation paperwork from my online TA, it shows my dining selection to be "Main Upper Dining." I'm really not sure what that is - is there a dining category on Eurodam that that applies to?

I'll call my TA this week if necessary. Am I correct in my understanding that there's no p!ace in the HAL booming management web pages to request a change to the dining assignment?

Main Upper is usually 8-8:15 PM, Fixed Seating.

You may be able to change by calling but if not you can try as soon as you board.

Thank you for your quick reply. I'd never seen that option in another cruise booking.

What are the other dining options called? If I want traditional first seating, is that what it's called? On my August HAL cruise (different TA) the invoice says "FIRST confirmed"

Just trying to get straight with the terms. When I booked there wasn't a clear option for First seating (possibly due to availability).

First seating is called Early. It's also in the upper dining room.

I believe Open Seating is also the lower level and runs from 5:00-8:00.

It is on the lower level and I'm fairly sure it runs from 5:15 until 9.

So if we decide that 8:00 is too late for us we can try for Early and barring that ask to be switched to Open, right?

If 8 is too late for you switch to Open Dining, you can always Reserve a slot daily

Yes, but most ships will only take reservations before 5:45 or after 7:45.

We were 530 dining on second level. Originally placed on late dining somehow .. maybe by HAL. Mentioned it during phone call with them and it was changed no problem
