HAL showed the game last year where possible. Amsterdam showed it and Super Bowl on cabin TV's, sports bar and on the big screen in the main show lounge. Front row seats were sold, don't remember how much, and included refreshments.

Sports are hit and miss. In Australia in 2015 (Volendam) we could see the World Series live at 9 a.m. In Europe in 2016 (Koningsdam), no broadcast on the ship. Cruise director said he had no control over it.

 

 

Depending upon the posiiton of the ship, even if they are willing to pay to bring down a satelite network signal, they sometimes cannot get the signal no matter , bec ause of where the ship is. That some times explains why one ship in the fleet shows a partcular game etc but another does not.
