Assigned deck... questions on Magic

Sailing Magic April 21st. Originally on Deck 2 interior I upgraded us to guarantee balcony ( for a birthday surprise) we received Deck 2-2362.

I'm actually glad where we are located. Looks like midship, it's near an elevator. Looks like we might be facing the islands when we port :)

One floor up from the main diningrooms, 8 floors straight up to the beach pool.

Questions :

1) What deck is it we debark on ports?

2) What deck do you first enter on embarkment day?

2) We are above the gallery. Is that an art gallery? Seems big.

Am I'm missing anything else, newbie to Carnival first time on a balcony.

Very excited. 37 days to go! ;)

You're in a cove balcony. Though they are the least expensive, they are my favorite type of balcony. Proximity to the water and views are incredible. Also you will get partial shade.

You are under the galley, the kitchen. There could be noise issues.

Under normal circumstances you will embark and disembark on deck 3. At ports you will get off deck 1, if I remember correctly.

Hope you have a great cruise. The Magic is a nice ship.

;p I'm happy I got a cove balcony I was wondering if we did. Excellent!

About the kitchen well we are early risers... hopefully won't be too much noise. My daughter sleeps like a log lol I will bring ear plugs if necessary.

Glad about where we get off & on sounds like it's so much easily I'm thinking! I've always been high up waiting for elevators we will walk instead. Thank you for your input!

I'm on that cruise! Can't wait.

That's great!!! I know I'm dying for a cruise, we were originally suppose to cruise on MSC on Sept 9 Irma stopped us. This is a surprise cruise my daughter doesn't even know yet.

Looks like a full ship, I hope for great weather for us!

You're welcome. I have had aft-extended and regular balconies. By far I find I prefer the coves. I think they are gems. So private, so close to the water.

I consider they are one of the best deals on the Dream class ships.

Happy sailing.

Think they look nice  and for now it's big an upgrade after interior for us. Plus I have my daughter it feels abit safer. I'm so looking forward to this cruise. My daughter will be looking at the cabin numbers figuring we are interior. Surprise! Lol...will have to videotape this!

We were just on the Magic in February and were on deck 1. I was worried at first about being that low but

we needed the OV cabin for 5 so that was what we had to pick from.

You will actually get off in ports on deck 0 and it's usually mid ship or forward.

You are very conveniently located though and I agree that I think you will love your cove balcony. I want

to try one one of these days.

Have fun!
