We are travelling with Princess on the British Isles 12 day cruise in May. It has been a few years since we have been in Europe. In Canada, it seems like every other store or restaurant has free WiFi. How is the availability of free WiFi in and around the capitals in the UK?

Fairly widespread. You may need to buy a beer or cup of coffee to access in some locations.

All McDonalds for a start. Many pubs and cafes . If in doubt, just follow the crew, they always home in on free WiFi to contact family.
