HALVancouver Posted February 5, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted February 5, 2018 (edited) Thank you for sharing the video. Keith You are welcome. Playing with the Capuchin monkeys was the highlight of our stop at Costa Rica. The taxi driver took us on a private tour, so we had lots of flexibility. lois1112 Posted February 10, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 10, 2018 was your costa rica excursion pre booked? does any one recommend a good tour operator.........we will be on the pacific side
HALVancouver Posted February 10, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted February 10, 2018 It was not pre-booked. We got-off the ship and found a taxi driver, told him that we wanted to see crocodile, scarlet macaw and monkeys, and he took us there, so we basically had an exclusive tour. It saved us lots of time, and we had the flexibility for each stop.

HALVancouver Posted February 12, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) paid $100 for 2 person, and no other passenger. It was well worth it and cheaper than ship excursion. Edited February 12, 2018 by HALVancouver
Rare Turtles06 Posted February 19, 2018 #11 Share Posted February 19, 2018 was your costa rica excursion pre booked?Wdoes any one recommend a good tour operator.........we will be on the pacific side A handful of us on our Roll Call had a fabulous private tour last year out of Puntarenas with Gio Tours. They were terrific, and I highly recommend them. The tour we booked was called the 8-in-1 tour (but we ditched the shopping). Among other things, we saw white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, a scarlet macaw in the wild (which was phenomenal), and had a great boat ride along the Tarcoles River (crocodiles, lots of amazing birds).. . just a terrific day.
