cynbar Posted June 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2005 Boston is not known for inexpensive hotels, even at the airport, unless you want to stay outside of the city. However, there are some lovely hotels, although pricey. Right on the waterfront, not too far from the pier, are the Marriott Long Wharf and the Boston Harbor Hotel, both good choices. Downtown, three large and bustling hotels are the Sheraton Boston, the Marriott Copley Place and the Westin Copley Place. An older but elegant and well kept hotel would be the Fairmount Copley Plaza. All of these are good choices in good locations for dining, sightseeing, shopping --- Boston is a very walkable town. Good luck ---
Lisa63 Posted June 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Will you be staying just one night and want to be convenient to the pier, or will you be spending a few days pre- or post-cruise?
TheWog Posted June 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Marriott Long Wharf is a great location. Fanuel Hall, North End, Aquarium (outside the door) are all within short walking distances. Legal Seafood restaurant also outside the front door across the street.

doone Posted June 10, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2005 I would recommend the Marriott Long Wharf as well. It will be pricey, but its convenient for what you are looking for.
