Pictures from Sensation March 1st

How was the weather? It looked awfully cloudy. We are going to be traveling on March 25th for our wedding cruise. Did you ever go in the disco lounge? Was it as bright as their online pictures appear? Oh yeah, and the lobster - did you have to request that much or did they give you all of that as one meal. Lobster is my favorite - sorry. :)

Weather was a little overcast at times and it did shower just briefly once, but generally it was very nice with perfect temps. I think the "disco lounge" was kaleidoscope (at least one picture included, but a little dark). We didn't go in there except to take the picture, but it was an active place (as we walked by at night and could hear the music, etc). My husband requested two lobster tails when he ordered - no problem!

Janet,

What beautiful pictures. :) We are sailing on her April 1. I can hardly wait.

Did you park at the pier? We are driving down and staying Saturday night in Cape Canaveral. Then driving over to the pier.

Thanks

golf43,

We did park at the pier @ $12 per night. Since you are doing the four night cruise, you might consider a local hotel with complimentary cruise parking & shuttle (and some even have breakfast). Here is a list for you (but confirm the arrangements at booking):

Hi Janet,

Great photos. We were on the same cruise...in fact you have a couple of photos of our kids in the slideshow!

We had a terrific time and wish we were still on the ship...especially considering the below zero temps in VT/NH this week!

That is too funny! Were your kids on the golf course? Perhaps I should have requested a photo release? :)

That is funny! Those are our kids on the golf course. I've been busy sending out the link to your pictures to family & friends today! :)

I love your pictures. This will be our first cruise and we are so excited!! I saw the pool pics with all the sunbathers. My hubby likes to be in the sun a lot and tans easily. But I only sunburn. I like to be near the action, but usually sit under an umbrella reading. Are there places to get shade but still be near the pool area? Are there umbrellas available? I didn't see any in the photos.

Thanks! The ship looks beautiful !

  • 2 weeks later...

Janet,

Thanks for the beautiful pictures. We just got off the ship 3/15 and they brought back memories that seem like so long ago. What kind of camera do you use? The photos are so clear.

There are many areas on the sides of the pool that are covered. You could both sit together with him in the sun and you in the shade.
