wrf2e Posted September 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Does anyone know if the Elation has upgraded to the flat TVs and if they have any "bonus" features like the ship cams and sail and sign account displays? Also, wouldn't it be nice if they realy developed this "interactive" TV idea. Like maybe being able to order room service and viewing photos!! FantasyLineAddict Posted September 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2009 I was on Elation in April after the mini-refurb and the TVs were still old, but they did have Lido and bow cams.
spencercoop Posted September 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 14, 2009 The Elation still has the old tv's. They are not interactive tv's, so you cannot view your onboard account. They do however send you a preliminary report in the middle of your cruise.

wrf2e Posted September 14, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Thanks to everyone who replied. I am glad they do have the ship cams as I am booked in a 1A and normally book an OV but am on a tighter budget this time and am going solo for the 1st time so an OV would have been too expensive with the single pax fees. I have heard that turning the TV to the bow cam can turn it into a "simulated" window (dark at night and then brightens up us the sun rises, plus I like to know what the weather is like before leaving the cabin.
