How is Nassau weather in mid Jan?

We will be in nassau on the 19th. Are people generally on the beach and swimming, etc? I see the historical weather indicates mid 70's - is this good for swimming, snorkeling?

We'll also be in Nassau on the 17th of January. I'm praying that we can lay on the beach and swim.

Considering it's been snowing here since late November, it will be warm enough for me to swim! Just mind over matter.

I was just there last week and the weather was wonderful... the water was kinda cool... but you can certainly swim and snorkle
