Treven Posted September 21, 2009 #26 Share Posted September 21, 2009 I think shorts & Ts are fine for the shows in the theaters. Wouldn't you rather be comfy instead of worrying about what some stranger might think about the way you're dressed?
Fabian52 Posted September 21, 2009 #27 Share Posted September 21, 2009 We always wear shorts and shirts and shoes to the buffet. I see nothing wrong with it. Now I would not do that in the MDR. The show is go how you like, shorts are fine too. Just no bathrobes....
puttersriley Posted September 21, 2009 #28 Share Posted September 21, 2009 Since you will probably be wandering the ship after dinner... wouldn't it just make sense to wear whatever the dress code is for that evening in general. If its a formal night we dress formal even if we go to the buffet then we don't feel out of place after we eat and we're at a show or in a bar. If its a resort casual night, then thats what we wear to the buffet as well. No big deal and we certainly don't feel out of place in the dining room for the buffet. Of course I'm talking about the evening meal not lunch. Having said all that... I really don't care what the person next to me has on... just cover it up people! Also, isn't it fun sometimes to get dressed up? Part of the cruising experience for us.
