CujoK Posted September 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2009 Can someone tell me if you can get a land taxi from the airport to the Venice cruise terminal or do you have to take it to the Piazzale Roma and then get the shuttle to the cruise terminal? I know you can get the ATVO bus to the Piazzale and then catch the shuttle. In addition does anyone know how much the taxi would be for two people with 4-5 pieces of luggage?

Also, the Venice airport website posts a phone number for land taxis. However, I do not know the cost. Many apparently take the 3 Euro bus to Piazzale Roma (with luggage storage underneath) and then a taxi from there to the terminal for 10 Euros. euro cruiser Posted September 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Most recently I've seen 25 - 30 Euro quoted for the trip from Marco Polo to Piazzale Roma, so I think you'd be safe to assume around 40 Euro, maybe a little more for the luggage fee.
