Ruby/Grand Princess Inside Cabin

Hi There,

The noise comes from folk standing in hall way chatting saying good night as some want to go forward others aft etc so they stand out side your door.

Look out for stewards store room or you get a 6.30am wake up bang crash every morning.

yours Shogun

Thanks for the feedback. I assumed that the interior cabins next to the elevator would be well sound-proofed, but it is nice to hear from others who have stayed in those locations.

I would not get a cabin that shares a wall with an elevator shaft though, someone in our group did have issues on the Emerald.

Any specific example of the issues they had with the cabin sharing a wall with the elevator bank?

We were in cabin A424 on the Ruby which is right beside a elevator shaft......did not hear one little bit of noise from the elevators at all. Only noise was people walking past in the hall or the cabins across the hall letting their doors slam closed. Was a great location!
